No School – Thursday, Friday, Monday

Due to Teacher’s Convention on Thursday and Friday this week, and Family Day on Monday, there will be no school for students on these days.

Grade 9 Farewell Parent Advisory Committee

We are in the process of electing representatives for a Grade 9 student committee to help plan their Grade 9 Farewell this year. We would love to have some parent help and input as well. We already have one member of our School Council who has agreed to take the lead on this parent committee. If you are interested in sharing your voice, and are interested in helping to plan, decorate, and celebrate our Grade 9s at the end of the year please email Mrs. Austin directly.

Grade 7 Assurance Online Survey – Please Participate

Attention Grade 7 parents! You will have received a mailed letter inviting you to fill out an Alberta Assurance Survey by the deadline of March 1, 2024. This survey is an important data point for our school and the information collected is used to make important decisions at Thomas B. Riley for the upcoming school year. We would very much value and appreciate your participation. Low participation rates lead to inaccurate data collection and can inadvertently skew this important perception data. We want to hear what you think about the school year so far!

Spirit Day – Wednesday February 14, 2024

Students are invited to wear red, white, and/or pink on Wednesday. The school spirit club will also be selling candy grams on Monday and Tuesday at lunch for $2 for small bags and $4 for large bags. They will be delivered on the Spirit Day on Wednesday.
