Dear Thomas B Riley Families, 

School Council is this Wednesday April 17, 2024

We are pleased to announce that the Principal of Bowness High School, Jana Macdonald, will be joining us for our School Council evening. If you would like to attend and ask questions please come for the beginning of our meeting. She will be there to meet you and answer any questions you may have as well as to explain the many offerings of the High School for next year. The meeting will be at 6pm in the Learning Commons.

Field Trip Fees Not Uploaded

We have had a number of families calling into the office to inquire about how to pay field trip fees as the deadline to pay is approaching and the fees are not yet loaded into Powerschool. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, this may take a few weeks to show up. Please keep checking back and we will have teachers let you know in their weekly messages when they are live. The students are still welcome to attend the field trip as long as their permission form is signed. Fees can be paid as soon as they are uploaded. We appreciate your patience and understanding. 

Attending TBR Next Year

If there are any changes to your child’s enrollment at TBR going into next year, please let us know right away. If you are moving, if your child is attending another school or program, or for any other reason will not return to TBR, please email the main office at thomasbriley@cbe.ab.ca so we can designate each student to the correct location. Inaccurate enrollment affects budgeting decisions at this time of year as well as class size and composition. Your transparency helps us to staff our school in the best way to support all students.
