Updating Demographic Information – OVERDUE Sept 15

You will have received an email from CBE regarding updating your child’s demographic information in Powerschool. These forms used to be completed via paper copies and now are required to be completed annually online. All parents must review, complete or update their child’s forms through Powerschool by clicking on the School Engage tab.

This is now an overdue task. Please ensure it is done urgently. Otherwise our school staff will be following up directly with families.

Our School Survey

OurSCHOOL Student Survey Administration Thomas B Riley will be participating in an online school perception survey for students called the OurSCHOOL Student Survey. This anonymous survey is completely voluntary for all CBE students. CBE’s Education Plan prioritizes student voice and well-being in our decision-making processes. Responses from this survey are used at the system and school level to recognize and improve what is necessary for students to feel safe, welcome, and cared for when at school.

Grades 4-12 students provide feedback on: § sense of belonging § positive relationships § anxiety § feeling safe at school § life satisfaction § general health § orientation to well-being § goal-oriented § self-regulation § cultural awareness of others Additionally, Grades 6-12 students provide feedback on: § depression § self-esteem § cultural awareness of self. Demographic questions are also asked on this survey for norming purposes. These are: grade repeater, reasons for changing schools, disability or medical conditions that limits participation in school activities or learning.

Survey Administration Details: When: September 18, 2025-September 23, 2025 (absent students will be provided an opportunity to complete the survey when they return)

Where: During Humanities classes

If you have any questions please contact the main office.
