Dear TB Riley Families,
School Council AGM – This Wednesday, June 11 @6pm
Our final School Council meeting of the year is on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 beginning at 6:00pm at Thomas B. Riley School.
We have a few open vacancies at the school to fill for next year. Please join us to hear more about exciting things we have planned for next year and to know more about how to get involved!
We will also have cake from the very best cakemaster in Calgary. You won’t want to miss this meeting!
RSVPs for Grade 9 Farewell
If you have a child in Grade 9 this year, please take time to fill out the RSVP form as soon as possible: https://forms.office.com/r/ftSLncXwmJ This form must be completed in order to receive tickets to the celebration. All RSVPs are due by Friday, June 13, 2025.
The Grade 9 Farewell celebration will take place on Tuesday June 24, 2025 beginning at 8:45am. Doors will open at 8:30am. The ceremony will last approximately two hours.
Due to fire code regulations every student in the school will be permitted two tickets per student. To claim these tickets you must RSVP with the first and last name of who will attend. Only one form is permitted to be filled out per child. We recognize that many of our families have step-parents who would also like to attend, however we must limit the tickets to two per student or we are at risk of violating our fire code regulations. If some students have tickets that are unclaimed after June 16, any unclaimed tickets will go into a draw for interested families with step-parents and will be drawn by a lottery. You must indicate on the RSVP form that this is something you are interested in, in order to be entered in the draw.
Thank you for your understanding and attention to this.
Reminder to Check Powerschool for any Outstanding Fees
A friendly reminder to please check Powerschool for any outstanding fees that are still owing for this school year. Timely payment helps us to budget the remainder of our funds for the duration of the school year and allows us to plan additional activities.
Bus Registration is OPEN for Next Year – Deadline June 13
Bus Registration is now open in your Powerschool Account. In order to secure bussing for your child next year it is important to register prior to the deadline to guarantee your spot and to help transportation to effectively plan routes for the Fall.
