Band Trips – Tuesday and Thursday This Week

There are two mandatory field trips this week for all students in Band. Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14, 2025 Grade 9s will attend an MRU workshop. On Thursday, January 16, 2025, Grade 8 students will attend.

This is not a concert performance so students are welcome to wear casual dress on this day. All students are expected to attend this field trip. There will be no alternative activities planned at school. If students are excused from this trip they must remain at home.

Sir Winston Churchill Student Tour – Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025

On Thursday, Jan. 16^th, 2025 the school will be taking all Grade 9 students that are designated to Sir Winston Churchill for Grade 10 on a tour of the school. They will be bussed to and from the school, leaving at 8:10am and returning at 12:00pm. Please ensure that your child arrives on time on Thursday as we will be leaving promptly at 8:10am. They will be supervised by school staff and will have their lunch upon their return to school.

Please note that the Sir Winston Churchill Open House for families is also on Thurs. Jan. 16^th from 6:00-7:30pm. We encourage your family to attend this event.

Bowness Grade 9 Information Meeting

Staff from Bowness High School will be attending TBR on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 1:00pm-2:30pm. They will be sharing information about the school and school programs for next year as well as an overview of registration information. Students who are designated to Bowness High School will be called down to attend this session.
