Healthy Hunger in October

Middle School Athletics in October

The Calgary Board of Education has determined that any upcoming practices and competitions including tournaments are cancelled between Oct. 6-31 due to labour action set to commence on Monday, Oct. 6. These dates could be extended depending on when labour action is resolved.

CBE Senior Leadership is advising schools that this decision is necessary to allow schools to focus on learning when classes resume. There will also be time required to cancel sites as well as gym rentals, transportation, and to inform referees, volunteers, parents, and students.

Farewell for Now

Note that all teachers and administration will have no access to email during labor action and will not have the ability to respond. We will respond to all emails in the order they were received upon our return.

We want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your support of teachers and schools during this time. We hope to resume school soon and welcome your students back in with open arms. Please take care.

Sincerely,

Tiffany Austin
